SCX brand has unveiled at the Nürnberg Fair that closes its doors today, its new Digital System, Scx Advance
(PR, Scalextric- Feb.2019)
SCX unveils Advance, its new digital system
Scx, the reference brand in the slot cars world, has unveiled its novelties in Track sets and cars at Nürmberg Spielwarenmesse, the most important Toy Fair in Europe.
1:32 scale Slot fans are in luck with the arrival of SCX Advance, a new system that recovers the best of the brand's previous digital overtaking, and adds new features and models.
The first set that will hit stores will be SCX Advance GT3. It will contain wireless controllers (without cables) and will allow races of up to nine cars simultaneously. The cars that will include are a Mercedes AMG GT3 and an Audi R8 LMS GT3, and will be available from September.
Purest Scx Lovers (1:32 analogue) will also enjoy the new GT Open set, a large box with bridge and two cars. The youngest, meanwhile, can run with the new DTM Masters, GT Xtreme and Top Cyclone tracks, all of them in the Compact system.
Compatibility with WOS, Digital System and Original
SCX Advance system allows cars adaptation from old WOS systems and Digital System. This only requires changing the cars chip replacing them with one of Advance, an operation that is easily done in a few seconds in WOS and with a small intervention in Digital System.
The new SCX Advance cars can run on WOS tracks and Digital System simultaneously with the vehicles of each system. A small switch accessible from car bottom makes it analogue, making it compatible with all non-digital circuits.
A WOS track or Digital System with its controllers becomes Scx Advance just by putting the Scx Advance cars on it. No need to buy a new switchboard because Scx Advance does not need it, which greatly helps fans to enrich their experience without major financial investments.
Any Scx analogue circuit with grey track is easily convertible to Scx Advance. Only by placing a change / overtake track the system is ready to accept the Scx Advance cars and start competing.
Conversion and management kit from smartphone or tablet
Scx Advance provides us a conversion kit that will contain a change / overtaking track, 2 car chips, 2 Advance guides and two Wireless Advance controllers. With this kit we have everything necessary to enter the new dimension of Scx Advance.
Scalextric Advance also offers the possibility of counting laps, timing, and managing races on your smartphone or tablet. To connect the Scx Advance circuit with your smartphone or tablet you only need the track with Bluetooth module.
By joining this same module with the Pit Lane track set, the possibilities of the system with the filling of gasoline in the Pit Lane are extended.
Great news in 1:32 scale models
Advance System launch will be joined by new models at 1:32, reference scale for slot fans, which can be purchased individually in Original and in Advance.
In total, five analogue cars and three Advance cars will be launched. Among the Original system novelties are the Lancia Delta HF Integrale with Martini Racing livery that entered in the 1992 Safari Rally; Alpine-Renault A110 'Mouton' (Monte-Carlo, 1973) in an elegant metallic blue; and Lancia Fulvia 1.6 HF of Italians Sandro Munari and Mario Mannucci, 1972 Monte-Carlo Rally winner.
